Blush Professional 88 Colour Palette

Oh lordy, where can I start with this one? I know...88 colours for under £10!?

AMAZEBALLS. The palette I have is the 'Earth Tones' one, I chose this one because it looked like a good mixture of shimmery/matte and neutral/more out there shades and some of the colours looked seriously lovely. I've been wanting a decent palette for ageeees but all the reviews I've read are for ones that I can't really afford...such as the Urban Decay Naked palettes, benefit palettes etc etc which I would have to sell my soul to afford...even though they look just like the thing dreams are made of, unless they are made with crushed unicorn horn powder I just can't justify spending anything between £28 (benefit smokin' eyes palette) to £37 (Naked palette); which is a lot of money for eyeshadow in my opinion, no matter how much I looong for them.

So moving on to this one, since I bought it (for the beautiful price of £8.99 on Amazon) I have used no other eyeshadows meaning I use this palette every. single. day. And I'm not so faithful when it comes to make up, I like to flit from foundation to BB cream and from lip butter to lipstick but I swear down I haven't felt the need to even pick up one of my No7 singles since the postie delivered this beauty; my fingers have not wandered to anything else.

There are some really POW shades in the mix, like a really gorgeous cranberry pink shade that I've been using to death over the last couple of weeks as we come into autumn and there's a gorgeous sparkly black I used once as eyeliner (I've been way too scared to use it on the lid so far; call me a wimp) and there's some really lovely greens I've liked blending together to make an interesting foresty autumnal look. Unfortunately the shadows don't have names...I contemplated making up my own names for the purpose of this post but then decided against it as I thought it would just confuse everyone. I've swatched some of my favourites just to give you an idea of pigmentation...aaand I really wanted to show of the sparkly ones!

The matte browns in this palette are really great for eyebrows too, and I've even used some of the whites and peaches as a highlight. Talk about versatility to die for.

For your money I think this is a MUST HAVE make up drawer essential, I've used it on many friends and they have loved it and one of them even bought it after I did a smokey brown/copper eye on her stunning blue eyes; there are some really colour complementing shades in here for all eye colours.

Well worth my £8.99 British pounds!
