Step by Step Winter Eyes

Hey there! So I thought I'd try something a bit different for this post and attempt to show you (in pictures) how to create a really natural but pretty winter eye look using my Naked palette. If you have the same colours that's great but just bear in mind that this look works with pretty much any colour combination.

The eyeshadows I used are Virgin, Sin, Naked, Buck and Half-Baked; all gorgeous neutral colours perfect for everyday.

So I've already prepped my eyelid with concealer and the Urban Decay Primer Potion, and I'm just going to apply Virgin all over the lid right up to my brow bone; I just used my finger for this but you can use a brush if you want. This colour is nice and light so it just evens out the skintone making it a great base for your other shadows.

Next I used a flat shadow brush to apply 'Sin' (a champagney colour that has a pink sheen to it) all over my lid again but this time stopping at the crease.

Now this is where things get a bit technical, I used a fluffy brush which I got in a set from Cath Kidson to apply 'Naked' which is just a matte caramel colour in my crease. I used circular motions to deepen the look a little adding definition to my eyes.

Using the same brush I went in with 'Buck', another matte brown that's just that bit darker but nothing overly dramatic and applied this in the outer V area, really taking my time to blend it into the Naked already there.

Lastly eyeshadow wise I just used the same brush again and took some of 'Half-Baked'; a really gorgeous shimmery gold with copper undertones and blended that along my lower lash line to add a pop of colour.

Then I just tight lined my eyes (which means I went along the upper waterline) with the Maybelline Eyeliner Matic and then lined my outer upper lashline as close to the lashes as possible going about a third of the way in then smudged it out to make it a bit more natural looking, I then applied the Maybelline Great Lash mascara in Black and hey presto!

I finished off my face with the Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer, Revlon Colourstay and the Maybelline Fit Me Powder. On my lips I'm wearing a No7 lipstick in the shade 'Bare' to keep the look a bit more toned down and natural.

Thanks so much for reading, I hope this tutorial is helpful feel free to leave a comment if there's anything you feel I could improve on! I'm going to list all the products on my face below.
